Our back yard: normally a small stream.
Our side yard: normally dry.
Thankfully, this is nothing compared to the devastation just minutes away from us, but it definitely gives some perspective on the amount of rain we have had. Entire neighborhoods have been evacuated. Homes destroyed. Rescue boats are circling Franklin.
We have much to be thankful for.

ReplyDeleteYes, thankfully! Our house is about 50 feet from the water. Our neighbors next door were flooded pretty badly though.
