If you've been reading my blog for long, you already know this: 

I love my job.

I teach acrylic painting classes each night of the week and have such a blast doing it.

But a couple days ago, I loved it more than ever. 

Because instead of looking out into a crowd of strangers, I saw these faces. Cousins!

And even my dad! (Quite a shocker... we were so happy he decided to stay and paint!)

I taught everyone the same painting, but each person picked their own colors. I love what they did. I have quite an artistic family, if I can brag a little.

PS - Speaking of treats, it just so happened to be our second anniversary! I was holding the camera just as Shawn burst in the door with two dozen of my favorite peach roses.

I married a prince.

Yes, yes it's blurry and it was late and neither of us look that great.
But I'm wearing scrubs.
And I'm listening to my cute husband's heartbeat (or at least pretending to).
And the smile on his face tells me that he's just as excited as I am about this next big season in our lives.

I can't believe I'm starting nursing school SO SOON and I'll get to wear my scrubs, lab coat, and stethoscope day in and day out.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Something wonderful happened to our house yesterday.

It was full of baby girls! Three of them, to be exact.

There were adults there too, of course, but they weren't really the main attraction. But we love them, too. :)

It was so good to see our friends, the Poricks, as it had been a while since seeing them last. 

Getting to see so many friends and family really does make this the most wonderful time of year!!
