As you very well know, we love having guests.


But I'll have to admit, we really love having them when they've travelled a long way. Another continent, even.


We really love having them when they're our blood family.

We really love having them when it's been almost 2 years since the last time we were together. 
Two years of water under the bridge.
Two years of ups and downs that God has allowed that have made us older and [hopefully] wiser.



Two years that don't feel nearly so long when you reconnect on a long, country walk.
