By 11pm when we went to bed, there wasn't a snowflake in sight.
But this morning at 6 when we woke up, we saw this:
Pretty magical, I'd say.
I'm thankful: the snow has cancelled lots of plans and softened what was to be a hectic day into a quiet one of preparation and organization. What a perfect Monday!
Makes you take a deep breath and let it out slowly......ahhhhh
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Love your photos...
papa said, I can just see Shawn sitting on that bench playing guitar
im just south of you in GA with my family (on vacation in ATL) so we are enjoying the snow down here. its so much more enjoyable than chicago - no wind! just magical snow :)
ReplyDeleteperfect monday, indeed. beautiful photos
ReplyDeleteIt is snowy up here too - the best part is being warm and cozy inside just watching it snow outside, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteoooooh LOVELY! wish we could transport ourselves back to Franklin for the snow day...but i'll just have to enjoy it through your magical photo taking. P.S. that bench is unbelievable, Whitney. The buttons make it so charming. And way to be so resourceful!

ReplyDeleteHello, my mom just showed me your blog (she happened upon it and actually knows someone who knows your parents! Small world...). Anyways...your blog is an inspiration to me! I love all of your pictures and random, but helpful little projects. I am also gluten-intolerant and lactose-intolerant, so it's great to see a fellow blogger who understands! Thanks for blogging! P.S. Check my blog out at http://clairesnewcorner.blogspot.com/
