And it's all because of ThredUP. When I first heard about ThredUP, I made a purchase of about 8 or 10 items to see if I was happy with the quality and the service before I recommended it to anyone. Once I received the clothes, they were in flawless condition, fit well, and were brands that I wouldn't be able to afford outside of purchasing them consignment. Winning all the way around.

This isn't a sponsored post - ThredUP only knows me as a happy, satisfied customer - but I do get a $10 credit if you make a first time purchase through my referral link, and you'll also get $10 toward your purchase. I just can't say enough about it, and I plan on buying from them for a long time. And even if you don't have a blog yourself, once you've made a purchase and have a referral link, you can send it to friends and family via email or post what you purchased on Facebook and then you'll also get $10 for every person who makes a purchase. Try it!
Just bought my first piece with the $10 credit from you! (thanks!) - would love to know: have you sold any clothing on there and how was that experience? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYay! Yes... I've sent in 2 or 3 bags of clothes and had a pretty good experience. I think brand names are really important, so those were taken, but loved making money on clothes I would've given away anyway. I just saw they're starting to take baby clothes so I'm excited about that!
DeleteGirl I am all about thredup. And now with the mobile app, they shoot you a -10% or -20% off your total every now and then. I've been using them about a year now, and I almost exclusively buy my and the kids' clothes from there. Ever since Goodwill raised their prices, I dropped them and focused on deals I can shop for in my pjs :) And, even though Eva is getting a little pickier in her taste in clothing, I just put 5-6 appropriately-sized items in my cart and let her choose 3 from those. So easy!
ReplyDeleteOh man... I'm with you when it comes to shopping in my PJs (as opposed to dragging children to a store). I'm so glad you've had a good experience too!
DeleteDo you know if they ship to Canada?
ReplyDeleteI'm scouring their website and don't see that option, but I'm not quite sure either way!
DeleteDid you notice that they have a special promotion where they're offering $20 gift certificates for new members instead of the usual $10? (Btw, thank you for sharing ThredUP. You were the one who got me started a couple of months ago, and it has been a VERY good experience.)
