This is what my front door has looked like every day for the past week. Christmas has been wonderfully crazy for Brighter Day, and after making over 80 purses in the past two weeks (only 13 to go!) I'm officially exhausted. And officially ready to do Christmasy things that don't involve sewing. :)
So that's where I've been. Sewing. Packaging. Making lots of trips to the post office.
I'll be back tomorrow with things to talk about that have nothing to do with business and everything to do with CHRISTMAS! I can't believe it's less than a week away!
PS... This little man of mine is ready for his first Christmas. :)
Oh, good! Maybe some time for the holidays now!

He is absolutely amazing! PS did you know the post office will pick up boxes from your house, and they actually charge less to print the postage online? Just a thought so you didn't have to run around all the time!

ReplyDeleteI was gonna say what Erin Colburn just said :) I was doing what you're doing and driving myself nuts. My mailman will just let me leave him a note in the mailbox and he'll come pick the packages up for me at the door! I live 15 minutes away from the closest post office, so this is awesome! I print all my labels through paypal...and i feel like I'm telling you something you already know, so if so, disregard!

ReplyDeleteI actually do print out all of my postage at home, and I sometimes have them pick it up from my house - but I've found, unfortunately, that they often don't actually come to pick it all up until at least 5pm. And by the time it's scanned, it's the following day - so it costs me quite a bit of time. I'm ok with it usually, but around Christmas when people are tracking their orders like hawks and needing their items by a certain date, I can't risk the extra time. So to the post office I go! :)
Your little guy looks like a good helper (or at least he makes you smile in the midst of all the packages!) :)
