Love that scrunchy face he's making in some of these photos. Wonder who he looks like? You'll have to post a baby photo of you and Shawn too one day so we can all see. I'm guessing his light blonde hair is from you. And I do see your dad's face in his. Love these sweet moments! You look great, Whitney. ReplyDeleteWhen my third girl was born, I was struggling with finding a name (mostly because the docs first said it was a boy, so I had boy names picked...) but my great-grandmother Alta's name really stuck in my head. Any time I would suggest it to people, they would get this glazed look on their face and say something dismissive about it, but I knew what a good woman she was and how much I loved and missed her. So, Alta it was, and people still look at me funny, but I know as my baby Alta grows and the legacy of her name is taught, she will appreciate it and love it, as will the people around her. I am so happy to see your little man is named after so many of his loved ancestors.
He is SO adorable, and how special it is to be named after so many wonderful family and friends. Once again, congratulations on your sweet blessing from above!

Feels like it was just yesterday that we brought Everett home, and I remember how sweet and wonderful those first few days were.
